The Fidelio Ensemble has been described as one of the most exciting new forces on the concert stage of Melbourne. In 2019, members of the ensemble completed the three-year-long Melbourne Beethoven Quartet Cycle, performing all 16 Beethoven Quartets at the Melbourne Recital Centre. Together the musicians offer a wealth of experience, having performed the symphonic repertoire countless times. Each of the players have shared the concert platform and toured internationally together for decades in the Melbourne Symphony. They have performed together for ABC Classic FM broadcasts, MSO Chamber Players, ABC Sunday Live Programs and chamber music performances with visiting MSO soloists. They have performed in much of Europe, Asia and throughout Australia to great critical acclaim.
